On 19 March 2021, the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics announced winners of the competition for the scholarship named after F. L. Shapiro in 2021:

• Winners in the section “Neutron spectroscopy and studies of condensed matter”: S. M. Nuruev and S. Dabylova



• Winner in the section “Polarized neutrons”: S. V. Sumnikov

F. L. Shapiro Scholarship is the annual award for young JINR researchers working in the fields of neutron physics. The goal of the competition is to stimulate their scientific and scientific-methodical work in the fields of ultracold neutron physics, polarized neutrons, neutron spectroscopy, methodical support of experiments on neutron physics.
