Work on the “Nuclotron-NICA” project in the Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is underway in various fields simultaneously. The test launch of the power systems of the Booster was carried out. The first cluster of the NICA Computing Centre was brought into operation. Elements of a large-tonnage magnet was transported from the Czech Republic. The magnet will be the basis for the MPD multipurpose detector.
