On 16 February 2020, the Scientific and Practical Conference for Schoolchildren “VI Mendeleev readings” started in the Museum of History of Science and Technology of JINR.

Students of primary and secondary schools present their scientific reports accompanied by colorful presentations. The programme of the conference also includes interesting lectures, fascinating tests and experiments prepared by the staff members of the Museum.

The purpose of the initiators of the Readings is to allow schoolchildren interested in a variety of scientific phenomena to describe them impressively, in the way that is easy to understand, involving a large audience.
