Engineering Physics Workshop is a new area of activity of the University Centre of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna).

It is no secret that many of the practical skills necessary for engineering of accelerator and experimental physicist, it is impossible to get in the university, since not every university has at its disposal modern accelerators and experimental facilities. The workshop occupies a large space in a building 118 LNP JINR (Dubna). At the moment, workshop includes laboratory work on the vacuum and microwave technology, electronics and precision laser metrology.

New future laboratory practical – work on nuclear physics, automation and particle detectors. In the near future, some of these activities can be performed directly on the beams of the new electron accelerator LINAC-800.
