Sportsmen from Dubna successfully performed at the Masters Russian Cup in Swimming

On 24 – 26 November the XXIV Open Masters Russian Cup in Swimming was held in Kazan.
At such a large-scale competition Dubna was represented by sportsmen from the “105th element” swimming club. The club works with the support of the JINR Swimming Pool “Archimedes”, and swimmers of the Сlub regularly take part in swimming competitions at all-Russian, European, and World levels always winning first prizes. Last competition in Kazan was not an exception.
Anna Sergeeva one more time distinguished herself having won golden medal in the stayer distance race of 800 m swimming freestyle (12:39,52). Moreover, she became the bronze medalist of 100 m medley race.
Dmitry Bychkov, Master of Sport of Russia, won the silver medal at distance of 50 m swimming beaststroke (28,89). The golden medal was won by D.Bychkov’s old rival Sergey Geybel (28,20), World Multiple Champion in swimming relay races.
Dubna team (Grigory Keznetsov, Dmitry Bychkov, Dmitry Glushko, Kirill Borisov) became, unfortunately, the fourth (1.54,86) in medley relay. However, Dmitry Bychkov set personal record of 28,36 at the swimming relay. Dubna team won the bronze medal in freestyle relay race 4 х 50 m (1.42,69).
Dmitry Glushko won the silver medal in 200 m freestyle race (2.01,77) and in 400 m freestyle relay (4.15,44). He also became a bronze medalist of the Russian Swimming Cup in 800 m freestyle relay. Kirill Borisov won the bronze medal of the Russian Swimming Cup in 200 m freestyle race (2.08,07). Dmitry Korobov became a bronze medalist of the Cup in 100 m butterfly relay.
