On 10 May 2017, a group of school students from Dolgoprudny Physical and Technical Lyceum n.a. P.L. Kapitsa visited JINR. The guests were welcomed at the Museum of the History of Science and Technology of JINR, and afterwards, in the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, and the Medical and Technical Complex of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems.

Staff members of the Museum of the History of Science and Technology of JINR, N.Kavalerova and K.Kozubsky, gave a class to present the main fields of research conducted at the Institute to the visitors: the class included an introductory video and a tour around the Museum halls.

A.Voinov and O.Orelovich introduced the students to the main directions of FLNR activity, told them about the applied research conducted in the Laboratory.

S.Shvidkiy guided the students to the Medical and Technical Complex of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, where he showed the JINR oldest accelerator Phasotron and a room where irradiation of oncological patients is conducted.

At the end of the program, A. Zlotnikova gave a short talk about the JINR outstanding scientists and walked with the guests around the Institute Part of Dubna.
