Problems of condensed matter physics to be discussed at BLTP JINR
News, 17 October 2022
The International Conference “Modern Problems of Condensed Matter Theory” started at the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics JINR on 17 October 2022.
The event brought together more than 90 participants from JINR and scientific centres of Belarus, Russia, Slovakia, Uzbekistan.
During five days at the Conference, they will consider current theoretical studies in condensed matter physics in particular in the following areas:
- complex materials (high temperature superconductors, super conducting hybrid structures, fractal structures, functional materials);
- nanostructures and nanomaterials;
- models of statistical physics of complex systems;
- methods of quantum field theory in complex systems.
Presentations will include oral reports, including plenary and invited ones, and poster sessions. Based on the results of the event, the publication of the Conference proceedings is planned in a peer-reviewed journal.
The Conference will last until 22 October 2022. Working languages are English and Russian.
