Rector of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University B.Zh.Abdraimov, Rector of the University «Dubna» D.V.Fursaev, JINR Director Academician A.N.Sissakian and Director of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Academician K.K.Kadyrzhanov endorsed the quadripartite agreement on joint training of bachelors and masters of nuclear physics on 19 November in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana.

The agreement provides training of students of the Eurasian National University at the Nuclear physics Chair of the University of Dubna, using the experimental facilities of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (JINR). It allows Kazakh students to get a master diploma of the University of Dubna in addition to the national diploma. Dubna students now have the opportunities of a pre-graduation training at the accelerator DC-60 in Astana and a thesis defense in the Eurasian National University.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation A.V.Khlunov, Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.A.Ongarbaev, Plenipotentiaries of JINR Member States who took part in the guest session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries, Director of the JINR University Center S.Z.Pakulyak, Head of the Eurasian National University International Department of nuclear physics, new materials and technologies K.S.Baktybekov, Rector of the University “Dubna” D.V.Fursaev also participated in the signing ceremony.
