The Diploma of Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences was presented to the famous scientist in the fields of theoretical physics, Academician, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, member of the JINR Scientific Council Professor Anatoly Zagorodny on 28 January 2014 at the meeting of the RAS Presidium.

Chief Scientific Secretary of the RAS Presidium Academician I.A. Sokolov introduced Academician A.G. Zagorodny to the RAS Presidium and noted his main achievements in the fields of development of the kinetic theory of dusty plasmas, as well as his research of Non-Markovian effects in plasma turbulence.

RAS President Academician V.E. Fortov presented the Diploma of Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the badge to Academician A.G. Zagorodny.

Academician A.G. Zagorodny made a brief presentation on plasma physics.
