French businessmen Edouard Renaud (Marketing & Business Development Manager Russia of the CST Company (Custom sensors & technologies)) and Anne Marie Liebmann (Director of the France-Russia Department of the FLA Consultants) visited JINR on 7 March 2014. On the JINR side the guests were met by Head of the Human Resources and Innovation Development Office A.V. Ruzaev and a number of experts from JINR laboratories.

Participants of the meeting informed the French guests on opportunities for cooperation with JINR in the fields of advanced technology and innovation projects of JINR. French businessmen were interested in opportunities offered by implementation of the major JINR projects, and especially in the mega-project NICA. The guests expressed their confidence that JINR and the Special Economic Zone "Dubna" are of interest to French high-tech and innovative businesses, especially companies of the nuclear field, which they represent. The guests expressed their confidence that their visit to Dubna is not the last one and took an initiative to explore possibilities of large-scale involvement of French firms which could be of potential interest for JINR in business in Dubna.

The guests visited the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions and the nano-center.
