JINR Director Academician Grigory Trubnikov was included in the group for scientific and technological development established on the basis of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 15 April 2021 “On some issues of the Presidential Council for Science and Education”. The group includes 15 people. Rotation of its members will take place at least once every two years.

According to the document, the group is established for expert and analytical support for the development of concepts of the most significant innovative projects of national importance, as well as for assessment of proposals for the development of federal scientific and technical programmes on the issues requiring a separate decision of the Russian President.

The tasks of the advisory group will also include ensuring the preparation of information and analytical documents on the issues related to the activities of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, as well as conducting scientific and technical expertise of proposals on the issues related to the operation of this Council.
