Nucleus-2024: call for applications starts

From 1 to 5 July 2024, the 74th International Conference “Nucleus-2024: Fundamental Problems and Applications” will take place at the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at JINR. In-person participation is required. Working languages are Russian and English.
Nucleus-2024 is a part of a series of annual conferences held since 1950 by major nuclear research centres of the Russian Federation and CIS countries. This year’s conference is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the seminal 1949 work of Hans Jensen and Maria Goeppert Mayer.
Conference topics include:
- Nuclear structure (theory and experiment)
- Experimental and theoretical studies of nuclear reactions
- Heavy ion collisions at intermediate and high energies
- Neutrino physics and nuclear astrophysics
- Applications of nuclear methods in science, technology, medicine, and radioecology
- Design of new experimental facilities
