In March 2016, a new Department of Physics and Technology was established at the Faculty of Natural and Engineering Sciences of the University “Dubna”. It was formed by combining the Chair “Electronics for Physics Facilities” and the Chair “Design of Complex Technical Systems”.

In June 2017, defense of Bachelor Graduate works and Masters Degree theses of graduates of this Department was successfully conducted. Six final works of Bachelors were defended in the “Electronics and Automatic of Physics Facilities” profile (four excellent and two good marks), and six Master’s theses (five excellent and one passing marks).

Nine Bachelors defended their works in the “Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources” profile (five excellent and four good marks) and in the “Aircraft” profile – 5 Bachelors (four excellent and two good marks).

The majority of Bachelors continue studies at the Master’s courses, combining studies with work at JINR and at the city enterprises. Masters will join the ranks of much-needed young specialists for JINR (NICA project, DRIBS-III and others), the Engineering Design Bureau “Raduga” and many other Dubna enterprises.
