On 19 November 2020, on the eve of the session of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiary Representatives, a regular meeting of the JINR Finance Committee will be held in the video conference format.

JINR Director V. A. Matveev will open the event with a report on the milestones of the Institute’s life. The implementation of the Seven-Year Plan for the Development of JINR in 2017 – 2023, as well as proposals for amendments to the Seven-Year Plan, will be reported on by JINR Chief Scientific Secretary A. S. Sorin. Deputy Head of the Finance & Economy Office M. P. Vasiliev will present the draft budget of JINR for the year 2021 and draft contributions of the Member States for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024. Milestones of the meeting of the Working Group under the CP Chairman for financial issues will be presented in the report by Head of the Group A. Khvedelidze. Director of the “Korsakov and partners” audit company D. A. Korsakov will introduce to participants the audit results of the Institute’s financial activity in 2019 and on the analysis of the implementation of the action plan by the JINR Directorate according to the results of the audit of the Institute’s financial activity in 2018.

Results of the meeting will be summed up at a general discussion after which participants of the Committee will take decisions. Results of the meeting of the Finance Committee will be presented at the autumn session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States that will take place on 23 – 24 November in the video conference format.
