High State Award of JINR Director V.A.Matveev

Subsequent to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 2 November 2017 №513 «On decorating with the state awards of the Russian Federation» Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, RAS Academician Victor Anatolievich Matveev was awarded the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 3rd degree for his significant contribution to the development of science and education, training of qualified specialists and for his long-term conscientious work.
Colleagues, friends, pupils congratulate Victor Anatolievich on being conferred the high State Award!
The Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” is awarded to citizens for the most outstanding merits and contributions to the country in the development of Russia’s statehood, professional advances, strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation among nations, or for significant contributions to the defence of the Fatherland.
The motto of the Order is «Benefit, Honour and Glory».
