Enhancement of cooperation between JINR and the Czech Republic

The 2nd Forum on Development of Cooperation between JINR and Czech Academic and Scientific Institutions will start its work on 19 September 2017 in Dubna.
By relying on the existing a wide fruitful cooperation between Czech academic and scientific Institutions and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the Forum is aimed at engagement of new institutions in the joint research projects carried out at Dubna and to initiate new programmes focused on innovation of technology, advanced systems, development of nuclear electronics, semiconductor detectors and special measurement tools, design and construction of accelerators, automation, programming and information technology.
During the three days of the Forum, participants will be acuainted with all the JINR laboratories and the JINR University Centre, they will visit VBLHEP, FLNR, FLNP and DLNP and meet with leaders of JINR. The Forum will provide an overview of the present cooperation between JINR and Czech Republic, discussions of support and coordination of scientific cooperation activities will be held, and the current activities of Czech researchers at JINR will be presented.
The first such Forum was successfully held in 2015, when professors leading not only physics, but also chemical, radiobiological, biological, technical departments of Czech universities came to JINR.
