Detector Advisory Committees of the MPD and BM@N projects

On 18 June 2019, the International Workshop «Detector Advisory Committees of the MPD and BM@N projects» was launched in the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics.
The meeting of the BM@N Advisory Committee was opened by JINR Vice-Director, VBLHEP Director V. D. Kekelidze who delivered the report on the present state of the NICA complex and the Nuclotron accelerator. The workshop was continued with a report by Peter Senger (GSI) on the contribution made by Germany to the BM@N project. Moreover, the progress towards the modernization of the BM@N facility and the transport channel of the accelerator will be considered at the meeting, as well as issues concerning mathematical modelling, systems of data collection and analysis.
The Advisory Committee of the MPD project will be opened by Head of the MPD collaboration A. Kisiel (Warsaw University of Technology) who will deliver the report on the current status of the project. At the Workshop, reports will be made on the present state of the time-projection chamber TDR, the ECAL electro-magnetic calorimeter, as well as the present status of the MCORD project.
At the end of both workshops, general discussions will be held.
