On 28 June 2018, discussion of cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research was held in the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU).

One of the major topics of the discussion was participation of MSTU in training of engineers for JINR in the frames of the International Engineering School established jointly with the Dubna State University.

First Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education G.V. Trubnikov participated in the meeting. MSTU Rector A.A. Aleksandrov, Dean of the Faculty of Power Plant Engineering A.A. Zherdev, heads of the departments of the Faculty and directors of scientific centres also took part in the event.

The JINR party was represented by RAS Academician Yu.Ts. Oganessian, FLNR Director S.N. Dmitriev, UC Director S.Z. Pakuliak, JINR Chief Engineer B.N. Gikal and VBLHEP Deputy Director H.G. Khodzhibagiyan.

The Dubna University party was represented by Rector D.V. Fursaev and Prorector for Scientific and Innovation Activities Yu.A. Kriukov.
