On 13 November 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Head of the Radiation Safety Department, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics Stepan Shirkov will deliver a presentation “Pirates of the Licensed Sea: on distant DLNP shores”.

The seminar is about the JINR activities in nuclear power application. The speaker will talk about the issues that appear when obtaining licenses and permits for work with ionising radiation sources. Plans for the development of the Radiation Safety Department will be considered.
