On 9 October 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

A BLTP JINR senior researcher Alexandra Friesen will deliver her report “From the Big Bang to the “Small” one”.

The seminar is devoted to the modern scientific views on the evolution of the Universe and the structure of matter. Speaker will talk about how modern accelerators allow researchers to witness the moment when everything began, creating “small bangs” in the laboratory, what signals can indicate that the right conditions have been reached, and what theories will describe it all.
