8th International GRID Conference

The 8th International Conference “Distributed Computing and Grid-technologies in Science and Education” will be launched on Monday, 10 September 2018, at the Laboratory of Information Technologies (LIT) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna.
Participants of this unique Conference consider issues related to the use of distributed computing in various areas of science, education, industry and business.
The main purpose of the Conference is to discuss the current Grid operation and the future role of distributed and cloud computing, HPC, BigData etc. in Russia and worldwide. The Conference provides a platform for discussing fresh results and establishing contacts for closer cooperation in the future.
Programme of the Conference includes plenary reports, sectional reports and poster presentations.

The goal of the School is to attract young scientists, students and postgraduate students to solving IT-tasks and challenges related to various aspects of megaprojects in the fields of high-energy physics, and to familiarize participants with modern methods of Big data analytics, machine learning and high-performance computing systems as well as to use this knowledge to solve IT tasks in the field of high-energy physics.
