Seminar topic: “Neutrino mass and oscillations: results and prospects”
Speaker: Yurii Kudenko (INR RAS)
The latest results on the study of neutrino oscillations with accelerator, reactor and atmospheric neutrinos will be presented in the talk. An emphasis will be put on determination of the neutrino mass ordering and a search for CP violation in neutrino oscillations. The results obtained in the experiments with accelerator neutrinos T2K and NOvA, as well as the measurement of neutrino oscillation parameters in SuperKamiokande and IceCube will be presented. The status of the next generation experiments DUNE and HyperKamiokande and the expected sensitivity of these experiments to CP violation and the mass ordering, as well as the reactor experiment JUNO, are also briefly discussed. The latest results on measurements of the neutrino mass in the tritium beta decay, in neutrinoless double beta decay, and in cosmology are examined. The current status of searches for light sterile neutrinos will be outlined.
