On 14 – 18 May 2018, the 11th traditional International School on Nuclear Physics “JINR Days in Bulgaria” will be held at the Bulgarian skiing resort Borovets.

The Nuclear Regulatory Agency of Bulgaria and the BAS Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy are the organizers of the School. For more than 10 years, this International School on Nuclear Physics has been very successful among Bulgarian students and students of Bulgaria’s neighbouring countries. In recent years, Bulgarian teachers of secondary schools have been participating in the School. Every year scientists from the JINR Laboratories deliver lectures to acquaint Bulgarian students, doctors and teachers with the current issues of nuclear physics and its application as well as with directions of the JINR scientific activities.

This year, the listeners of lectures will be students of the Plovdiv University Paisii Hilendarski, the Technical University of Sofia, the South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen.
