Year of Science and Technology in Russia: composition of organizing committee published

According to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the Administration of the President approved the composition of the organizing committee and the presidium for holding the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. The corresponding order was published by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
The Presidium of the organizing committee includes Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Russian Federation, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov. JINR Director Academician Grigory Trubnikov is a member of the organizing committee. Moreover, Speaker of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Lilia Gumerova and Governor of the Novosibirsk region Andrei Travnikov, who visited JINR in October 2020 in the frames of the guest meeting of the Committee in Dubna, are also members of the organizing committee. Heads of subjects, scientific foundations, heads of leading universities and scientific organizations, leaders in the fields of information technologies and telecommunications, and many others are among members of the organizing committee of the Year of Science and Technology.
It should be reminded that on 25 December 2020, the Order of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared 2021 the Year of Science and Technology thus to promote further development of science and technologies in the Russian Federation. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and Assistant to the President of Russia Andrey Fursenko are appointed co-chairs of the organizing committee of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia.
