Thermodynamic characteristics of particles produced in π−C interactions at 40 GeV/c

We offer to your attention a preprint “Thermodynamic characteristics of particles produced in π−C interactions at 40 GeV/c as a function of the cumulative number and the van der Waals equation of state” E1-2022-22 published by the JINR Publishing Department. The authors are M. Sovd et al.
In this paper the authors have determined constants a and b of the van der Waals equation of state using the experimentally obtained critical parameters Tc, Vc, and Pc for π− mesons and protons from π−C interactions. The P−V diagrams have also been analysed.
The investigation has been performed at the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics JINR.
