The first stage of the International student summer practice in JINR fields of research will be started on 23 May 2016 in the JINR University Centre.

The main purpose of the Practice is to allow its participants to learn about the JINR research programme and facilities. The Practice includes lecture courses on advanced research topics (in the morning) and laboratory exercises at JINR divisions (in the afternoon). The cultural programme includes excursions and social events.

The programme of the Practice includes lectures on research fields of JINR laboratories, excursions to the basic JINR facilities – FLNR accelerators, the pulsed reactor IBR-2, VBLHEP facilities. The main part of the time of the Practice will be devoted to self studies of research projects which will be supervised by JINR leading specialists. The Practice will be concluded with the defense of the students’ projects and presentation of certificates to participants of the Practice on 10 June.
