The Scientific Council of JINR, at its 123rd session on 22 – 23 February 2018 at Dubna, approved the International Jury’s recommendations on the award of the B. Pontecorvo Prize for 2017 to Professors G. Fogli (University and INFN, Bari, Italy) and E. Lisi (INFN, Bari, Italy), for their pioneering contribution to the development of global analysis of neutrino oscillation data from different experiments.

Laureates are invited to the next session of the Scientific Council on 20 — 21 September 2018 for the award ceremony and reports about their scientific achievements.
