Meeting “How to help yourself in a crisis situation”
Culture
On 10 March, the JINR Universal Public Library invites to a supporting meeting with a psychologist for the staff of the Institute. The start of the event is set at 6:30 PM.
Stress is a state of increased tension of the organism as a protective reaction to the effects of adverse factors. In a state of stress, a person may experience anxiety, difficulty concentrating, lose performance, feel apathy or, conversely, excessive excitement, have problems with sleep, health, eating behaviour, feel trapped in a cage, lose hope of changing anything, etc.
The meeting is for those who:
- need advice or support to cope with a crises situation
- feel that the stress level exceeds adaptation opportunities
- have difficulties concentrating and taking decisions
- have no strengths and energy left to take actions
Many people find themselves in difficult situations these days. The meeting gives a chance to talk to a professional psychologist who can help in getting necessary support and mastering practical tools for self-aid.
Consultant: Natalia Mitkevich, a psychologist (Master degree, Higher School of Economics), business coach, member of the Association of Psychoanalytical Coaching and Business Consulting, author and hostess of “PSY yoga: movement towards self”, mother of 2 sons.
