JINR received two new certificates of state registration

Patents, 31 May 2023

The Innovations and Intellectual Property Department of JINR announces that Joint Institute for Nuclear Research received two certificates of state registration, namely “JINR international cooperation accounting database” on 12 April 2023 and “Sys_Monit current measurement programme for superconducting structural magnets of the Booster and Nuclotron Synchrotrons” on 2 May 2023.

Congratulations to the authors on receiving state registration!

  1. “JINR international cooperation accounting database”

The database is intended for storing and processing information on JINR international cooperation. The database contains a set of independent materials presented in the form of tables and the links between them. The database’s content is external data: employee’s number; thematic plan. Reference books: all countries, the JINR Member States, Associate Members; organizations (institutes) conducting joint scientific research. For organizations — name, code, address, phone numbers, email, website (WWW page). List of conferences attended by JINR scientists: country, city, organizer, start and end date, name. Specialists coming to the Institute are registered: date of registration, date of arrival and departure, country, organization, service number, purpose of arrival, laboratory, topic. JINR employees’ business trips abroad are registered: registration date, travel dates, unique code of the personnel department, department, citizenship, organization phone number, email, source of funding. The database as of 01.12.2022 contains 157,910 information records. Computer type: IBM PC-compatible. PC based on Intel processors; OS: Windows 7/8/10.
Type and version of the database management system: SQL Server, Access, Excel
    Database size: 67 MB

  2. “Sys_Monit current measurement programme for superconducting structural magnets of the Booster and Nuclotron Synchrotrons”

Authors: Andrey V. Sergeev, Victor N. Karpinsky, Sergey V. Kirov, Alexey K. Panfilov, Vladimir G. Tovstukha

The programme is designed to measure the currents of Booster and Nuclotron power supplies in real time. The programme fulfills the following functions: precision measurement of Nuclotron and Booster currents; digitization of reference current values; transfer of measured and reference currents to a computer via Ethernet protocol for their subsequent visualisation; registration of emergency situations; calibration of external 24-bit analog-to-digital converters; calibration of external 18-bit digital-to-analog converter designed to transmit reference currents to external consumers; indication of measured currents on a liquid crystal display. Computer type: Stm32 F407 with the ARM 32 bit Cortex М4 core. OS: without an operating system.
Programming language: С (development environment: Keil uVision)
    Programme size: 0,8 MB
