The JINR Cultural Centre launched an online library in the frames of the anniversary year – the 65th anniversary of JINR and the 65th anniversary of the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir”.

Books devoted to outstanding cultural figures whose life and work were associated with Dubna and JINR will be published on the website https://dkmir-dubna.ru/.

Thus, on the day of its opening, 25 January, the online library of the CC “Mir” posted the book “Vysotsky in Dubna. Shared love”. The book was issued with 1,000 copies with the participation of RAS Academician V. A. Matveev. The author is Liubov Nikolaevna Orelovich. The author dedicated the book to the 75th anniversary of the birth of the poet and depicted not only the life of Vysotsky but also the cultural life of Dubna and its citizens.

From the editor’s preface: “This book contains evidences of friends of Vladimir Vysotsky in Dubna, the eyewitnesses of his visits and performances in Dubna, as well as photographs, many of which have never been published before. All of this makes the book “Vysotsky in Dubna” a valuable source for researchers of his biography and work, as well for Dubna citizens who are keeping the scientific and creative traditions of their wonderful city.”
