Condensed Matter Research at IBR-2 to be discussed at FLNP conference
News, 22 April 2022
From 25 to 29 April 2022, the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna will hold the International Conference “Condensed Matter Research at the IBR-2”.
Neutron scattering research at the IBR-2 reactor covers different fields of condensed matter physics, materials science, chemistry, biophysical, geophysical and engineering sciences.
In the framework of the FLNP scientific research programme and the User Programme, 200 experiments are performed annually by scientists from more than 20 countries at the IBR-2 instruments. These traditional Conferences aim to discuss acquired experimental results, determine the promising fields for scientific research and improve experimental instruments at the IBR-2 reactor.
The previous Conferences held in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020 attracted participants from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Vietnam and other countries.
The event will be held via videoconference. More details about the conference are available on the website.
