The Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR announces the XXV Summer School for Young Scientists and Specialists (Lipnya-2021) scheduled for 16 – 18 July 2021.

Young scientists and specialists aged under 35 are kindly invited to participate.

This year is an anniversary year not only for the School but for the Institute as well. JINR has made more than 50 fundamental discoveries in the fields of nuclear physics and related disciplines. Working on basic facilities allows finding answers to basic physical questions and greatly contributes to applied research fields. However, it is necessary to remember that there are people behind each facility and discovery who made the history of science and transformed our world.

Within the framework of the School, JINR researchers will introduce the history of the Institute and the creation of its laboratories. Reporters will speak about scientists who have greatly contributed to the Institute’s scientific achievements.

In addition to interesting lectures, a round table with the JINR Directorate is planned at which participants will be able to ask their questions.

The programme of the School also includes sports games, guitar songs, barbecue, and meetings with new people. The working language of the School is Russian.

Registration will be open from 6 to 9 July.
