Workshop on superconducting and magnetic hybrid structures: registration continues

News, 23 April 2025

The registration for the second Superconducting and Magnetic Hybrid Structures international workshop is open. Itwill take place at the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at JINR in person from 7 to 10 July 2025. The first workshop on relevant phenomena at the junction of superconductivity and magnetism was held in 2023.

The key topics this year will be superconducting and magnetic hybrid structures, the superconducting diode effect, the Josephson effect in altermagnet, Josephson electronics and spintronics, Josephson qubits and quantum computing, proximity effect in hybrid nanojunctions, resonance phenomena, and topological phenomena.

The workshop will include plenary and oral presentations along with a poster session of young researchers. The registration for the workshop and abstracts submission is available via the link until 10 May.

The Organizing Committee is represented by BLTP JINR researchers. The Advisory Committee of the event includes scientists from France, Germany, India, Iran, the Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, and Sweden.
