News, 08 November 2019
On 7 November 2019, the 2019 Joint Workshop on Physics of Strong Interaction started in Guangzhou, China.
The Workshop is organized jointly by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics JINR, the South China University of Technology and the CAS Key Laboratory of Theoretical Physics with the support of the China Center for Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).
More than 80 participants from China, Russia and other countries have gathered at the Workshop to discuss the issues of physics of strong interaction in atomic nuclei, hadrons and compact stars from both theoretical and experimental points of view.
The present Workshop consists of the first three-day part devoted to scientific reports, including 18 reports made by scientists from BLTP and FLNR, and the final day devoted to discussions.
This Workshop is the 10th of the series of annual workshops initialized in 2010 when the first such event was held in BLTP JINR. Since then, it has been held successively in BLTP JINR in Dubna and in the People’s Republic of China.
