On 24 May 2016, at the request of the Research and Production Enterprise “Istok” a representative delegation of participants of the Programme and Organizing Committees of the 26th International Crimean Conference «Microwave & Telecommunication Technology» (CriMiCo’2016) visited JINR. The delegation included scientists and experts in the fields of microwaves who represented many industrial and academic organizations of Moscow, Fryazino, Sevastopol, Ekaterinburg, Kharkov, Kiev, Saratov, St. Petersburg.

On arrival in Dubna, the guests were welcomed in the JINR Visit Centre, where employees of the JINR International Cooperation Department A.Yu.Belova and A.A.Suschevich made a presentation about the Joint Institute. Later, the delegation visited VBLHEP, where Deputy Head of Department 1 on Scientific Work A.O.Sidorin acquainted the guests with the progress on implementation of the NICA mega-project and the new high-frequency equipment. In FLNR JINR Chief of Sector S.L.Bogomolov demonstrated the accelerator equipment of the laboratory; a special interest of participants was caused by ion sources.

The delegation was accompanied by ICD Leading Engineer M.G.Loshchilov.
