The agreement on cooperation between the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Israel Academy of Sciences was signed in Dubna.

On 21 February 2018, the framework agreement on cooperation between the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities represented by the Israeli Committees for High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics was signed in the JINR Directorate.
