From 30 April to 18 May 2025, the JINR Mir Cultural Centre together with the Historical Archive of the JINR Museum of History of Science and Technology with the support of the “Dubna: Science, Cooperation, Progress” weekly JINR newspaper invites visitors to the “(Un)published” exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition offers a glimpse of the past caught through artefacts of personal memory of citizens and the official history of the city.

The exhibition includes materials gathered from personal collections of Dubna residents and the archive of the “Dubna: Science, Cooperation, Progress” weekly newspaper: letters of the war years, newspaper publications about the Great Patriotic War that came out over the decades, a print of the newspaper’s first issue.

Three letters of Mikhail Meshcheryakov deserve special attention, as these are a testament to that time, inscribed in the history of the city and the country.

The exhibition will be open daily from 1:00 to 7:00 PM (except Monday) at the exhibition hall of the JINR Mir Cultural Centre. Admission is free.
