A large-scale culture history exhibition project dedicated to one period of Russian national history which is traditionally labelled as the “Thaw”. A part of the exhibition is devoted to creative work of Dmitry Blokhintsev (painting) and Yuri Tumanov (photo installations and photo collages). The exhibits were provided by the JINR Scientific Information Department. The exhibition area is designed around seven thematic sections demonstrating the important phenomena of the era. In particular, one section demonstrates how mass higher education and development of scientific institutions has created new heroes — students and scientists. The exhibition will be open until 11 June 2017.
