The JSC “Tensor” carries out an innovative engineering and technical project in the framework of an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Specialists of the equipment plant began development of design documents for the non-standardized set of dedicated equipment used for the input control of sensors of the electromagnetic calorimeter.

This equipment will be used in the unique mega-science accelerator complex NICA, construction of which is underway in the science city Dubna.

– The equipment being developed under the JINR statement of work will significantly reduce the time for quality control of the supplied equipment and solve a number of issues in carrying out scientific-research and design-experimental work when developing this complex and unique experimental facility, – Deputy Sales Director of the JSC “Tensor” Alexey Shershnev noted.

It should be reminded that the NICA collider is planned to be brought into operation in 2020.
