On 7 December 2024, at 7:00 PM, a concert by Instrumental Capella, the Moscow Region Symphony Orchestra led by Ivan Nikiforchin will take place at the JINR Mir Cultural Centre.

The programme:

• Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in B♭ minor, Op. 23;
• Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36.

Stanislav Korchagin, winner of the third prize at the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition, will solo in the Piano Concerto No. 1.

Musicologist Ada Ainbinder will talk about how and in which conditions Tchaikovsky created his masterpieces and delve into the mysteries of his scores.
