Street in Moscow to be named after Georgy Flerov

The city interdepartmental commission on naming territorial units, streets, metro stations, organizations and other sites of Moscow approved the naming of 15 unnamed streets and squares of the capital.
According to the official web portal of City Administration, the Proyektiruemyy proyezd 5557 street in the Severny District will be named after Academician Georgy Flerov — nuclear physicist, co-founder of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna.
