Nine young scientists from Dubna will receive a state support mortgage in 2020. Among them are seven scientists from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and two specialists of the Dubna State University.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Science of the Moscow region, one hundred people from 32 industrial and 30 scientific organizations of the Moscow region will participate in the State support mortgage programme this year.

The results of the selection of applications were approved at a meeting of a special board. As a result of the meeting, the basic list of recipients of housing certificates, who scored maximum points for their scientific and professional achievements, was formed.

When evaluating applications, the criteria were: the scientific and socio-economic significance of the research for the Moscow region, its relevance and novelty, as well as the possibility of its application in practice. In addition, academic degrees, print publications, patents for inventions of utility models and industrial designs were taken into account.

“In total, more than 200 applications were received for the State support mortgage from scientists and specialists of the Moscow region this year. 100 people were selected. Thus, since the beginning of the program (since 2016), 507 people have received apartments”, said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Minister of Investment, Industry, and science of the Moscow region.

The winners of the competitive selection will have the opportunity to get a refund for the initial payment on the mortgage contract and monthly compensation for the payment of the principal debt on a housing mortgage loan. Award of certificates to recipients of financial support will take place after the decree is signed by the Governor of the Moscow region.
