Revolution Day in Arab Republic of Egypt
Organization, 22 July 2021
23 July marks the Revolution Day in the Arab Republic of Egypt, an Associate Member of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The Revolution Day is a national holiday dedicated to the anniversary of the July Revolution that took place in Egypt in 1952. Scientific ties between JINR and national scientific centres of Egypt have a long-standing history dating back to the late 1960s. Since then, fruitful scientific cooperation of Egyptian physicists with JINR researchers continues to be strengthened and extended. Egyptian students regularly come for internships at JINR. Moreover, one of the first JINR Information Centres was opened exactly in the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt.
This year, the day of the main national holiday of the Arab Republic of Egypt is marked at the Joint Institute with a visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt Ihab Nasr, as well as a visit of a representative delegation of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt.
The Directorate of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research congratulates Egyptian colleagues and partners, as well as their relatives, on Revolution Day and wishes them good health, happiness, well-being, luck, and new professional successes for the benefits of science and progress.
