On 29 July 2019, a meeting with the participation of the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR with representatives of the JINR Offices took place in the JINR Scientists’ Club. Participants of the meeting discussed the plan of the dormitory’s repairs (2 Moscovskaya St, “Grill”) and rehousing of the Institute’s staff for the repairs period.

JINR Chief Engineer B. N. Gikal opened the meeting by introducing to staff members of the Institute the order of JINR Director V. A. Matveev and announced the dates of repairs. Due to the order, the repairs of the dormitory will be launched on 1 October 2019 and will be finished until 31 December 2020.

Head of the Administration Services Office A. A. Broun presented the plan for repairs of the hotel, answered questions and considered proposals of the staff living in “Grill”.

Head of the Hotel and Restaurant Complex Management Office V. V. Skitin told participants of the meeting about principles and variants of rehousing. These options include the resort hotel “Ratmino”, the dormitory of SINP MSU, the building of service and utility rooms, rented apartments or corporate housing, hotels of the city. Choosing any of the options, staff members will not pay more than they used to. In its turn, the HRCM Office offers aid with the move as far as it will be impossible to keep staff in “Grill”. Residents of the dormitory can send their preferences to the “Grill” administration. The opportunity to compensate (free transport or breakfasts) worse living conditions will be also considered. Video of possible apartments for temporary rehousing will be provided to help choose the option.

Until 15 August, the HRCM Office jointly with laboratories will make up the lists of staff members for the move. Information with possible variants will be given to the hotel residents. It will be also possible to learn it by yourself in the administration of the dormitory at Moscovskaya str., 2 or in the HRCM Office.
