Registration for the 13th Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists “Alushta-2024”, organized by AYSS JINR, ends on 21 April. The event will take place from 9 to 16 June 2024 at the Dubna JINR Resort Hotel in Alushta, the Republic of Crimea. The working languages of the conference are English and Russian.

This year, the conference is dedicated to modern achievements in medical physics, particularly the development of the concept and project to create a scientific and clinical proton therapy centre based on the MSC-230 Superconducting Proton Cyclotron.

At the event, young JINR scientists and specialists will present reports on their scientific research. In addition, discussions on the topics of the lectures will take place, as well as a round table with the JINR Directorate and the Dubna city administration, where the conference participants will have an opportunity to ask their questions and make their suggestions regarding the development of infrastructure, the organization of scientific process, social policy, and many other issues related to the Institute and the city.

Students, postgraduates, and young scientists and specialists under the age of 35 inclusive are invited to participate in the conference with presentations. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Participants will be selected by the programme committee based on the submitted applications. The list of participants will be available on the event’s website.
