Forum on Development of Cooperation

News, 13 September 2015

From September 14 to 18, 2015 in Dubna the Forum on Development of Cooperation between JINR and Czech Academic and Scientific Institutions is being held.

There has been a wide fruitful cooperation between Czech research institutes and universities (e.g. Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Technical University and Charles University in Prague) and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research since decades.

The goal of the Forum is to engage other academic and scientific institutions in the joint research projects carried out at Dubna and to initiate new programmes focused on innovation of technology, advanced systems, development of nuclear electronics, semiconductor detectors and special measurement tools, design and construction of accelerators, automation, programming and information technology.

In order to launch new research projects, the excursion of management of physics, chemistry, biology and technology departments to JINR is organized within the Forum. As a result, new opportunities will be provided not only for traditional partners but also for institutions that have not yet been involved into a wider collaboration with JINR.
