JINR Days in Georgia which were dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute were held on 27-30 May 2015 in Tbilisi. The JINR delegation included JINR Director Academician V.A. Matveev, JINR Vice-Directors R. Lednický and G.V.Trubnikov, VBLHEP Director V.D.Kekelidze, LIT Director V.V.Korenkov, representatives of JINR Member States: Representative of Bulgaria, Chairman of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiaries L.Kostov (Bulgaria), Representative of Armenia S. Harutyunyan, Representative of Georgia A. Khvedelidze, member of the JINR Finance Committee L.Mardoyan (Armenia). Presentations, discussions and meetings were held in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Georgian Technical University, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Tbilisi State University. At a meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia the Diploma of Foreign Member of the Academy was ceremonially presented of Academician V.A.Matvev. JINR Director also became the Honorary Doctor of the Georgian Technical University.  On the Georgian side the meetings and discussions was attended by Minister of Education and Science T.Sanikidze, Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician of NAS of Georgia A.Prangishvili Georgia, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia G.Kvesitadze and other leaders of scientific and educational centers of Georgia, leading scientists, young scientists.
