The 2008 International Summer Student Practice in JINR Fields of Research begins on 29 June. Its first stage, which will last through late July, will be participated by students of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. In 2008, the Student Practice is not limited to the summer: in September, a Practice will be held for 25 students of Polish universities; later, there will be a Practice for South African students.

The Practice programme is worked out on the grounds of the positive experience of recent years: the programme includes performing the study research projects at JINR Laboratories, lectures by JINR’s leading scientists and specialists, students presenting results of their work, and a culture program with excursions.
