On 10 September 2008, Scientific Adviser of the President of the Republic of Cuba Prof. Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba Juan Valdez Figueroa visited Dubna.

JINR director A.Sissakian hearty welcomed the guests. At the meeting at JINR’s Directorate they discussed the cooperation between the Republic of Cuba and JINR issue (the Republic of Cuba joined the Member States of JINR in 1976). The sides expressed their wishes to cooperate more actively.
