The JINR website section “International Innovative Nanotechnology Centre of the CIS countries”

On June 25 a new section “International Innovative Nanotechnology Centre of the CIS countries (InINCis)” was added to the JINR website: http://inincis.jinr.ru/index.html.
 
An organizational and informational forum “The Establishment of the International Innovative Nanotechnology Centre of the CIS countries” will take place in Dubna on July 1-2, 2009.
 
Among those invited to participate in the forum are: heads of the Interstate Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states and the CIS Executive Committee, representatives of the International Association of the Academies of Sciences, Ministries, National Academies of Sciences, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, scientific and educational centres, state and private corporations working in the field of high technology in the CIS countries, and representatives of the international science and innovation organizations of the European Union.
 
Other guests of the forum are: officials from the President’s Administration and the Russian Federation Government, representatives of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
 
The main objective of the forum is to demonstrate real potential and advantages of the InINCis for its future members, to introduce existing and developing situation in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the Russian Scientific Centre “Kurchatov Institute”, and the “Dubna” special economic zone, to discuss preliminary organizational work results to establish the InINCis, and to show political support for the project.
